Angelica Shows Kian and Ariel How It's Done

In the Protagonists' Cafe deep inside Kimber An's twisted imagination, she's goofing off instead of finishing the final stage of the Slash & Burn of 'Paper Moon,' an SFR short story.

Kian and Ariel, the hero and heroine of Paper Moon, stand anxiously nearby.  "Uh, pardon me," says Ariel, to no effect.

"Amateurs."  Angelica, heroine of MANIC KNIGHT, walks over.  "Have I taught you nothing?"
.
"No.  Actually," says Kian.  "We just got here."
.
"Oh.  Right."  Angelica pulls out a dark chocolate bar and waves around Kimber An's hand.  "This way, c'mon, that's a good little aspiring author." 
.
Kimber sniffs the chocolate and follows it to her mini-laptop.
.
"Sit, sit, good girl."  Angelica stuffs the chocolate into Kimber An's mouth and places the mini-laptop in her hands.  "Now, write."  
.

"Okay."  Chomping chocolate, Kimber An begins to tap away on the keyboard.
.
"If she gets a little rowdy," says Angelica, "Just call in Gothic Kimber An."
.
"Who?"  Says Ariel.
.

Angelica points to the personification of Kimber An's subconscious mind.  "Gothic Kimber An."

Kian and Ariel cling to each other.  "I'm scared," says Kian.  "Me too," says Ariel.

"Don't worry."  Angelica pats Ariel's shoulder.  "She's on your side."
