I should have known better than to take my shower before I nursed the baby yesterday morning. She is my fourth live child, after all. So, of course, half-way through, she wakes up and starts wailing for breakfast and Daddy can't do anything for her. Only I have the necessary, ahem, equipment to feed the baby right now. Some nursing moms pump their milk, but I haaaate that. Makes me feel like a cow. Thankfully, all my babies have been excellent nursers and I've never needed to pump at all..
So, here's the tip: 'The youngest child goes first on the schedule.'

Because they have the shortest attention spans and smallest stomachs and need the most naps.

Lesson learned! At least you'll be able to have a nice long shower the next time.
