Goals for MANIC KNIGHT

Good morning, Blog Buds. MK is getting to a point at which I can set some realistic goals.

1) Finish Weed & Patch by June 1st. Completing at least seven pages a day will do it.

2) Begin Polish June 2nd. Using past manuscripts as reference and with the hard part - Weeding & Patching - done, I can safely assume this will take about a month. I'll hand over chapters to Crunchy Critters as I finish them.

3) Begin Final Polish June 30th. I'm much faster at this now, thanks to all I learned with THE HOLY BENNU. Nevertheless, I'm giving it two months.

4) Launch into Queryland September 1st.

.

Once MK is out the door, I'm planning on working on a short story, maybe the one which popped out of my head in the middle of the night last week. Title: A BEAUTIFUL MIND.

In other news, I'm having loads of fun submitting STAR CAPTAINS' DAUGHTER to Small Presses and ePublishers. Did you know they actually prefer stories which don't toe the genre line? It's freakin' awesome! I'm not going to put off subbing MK to them like I did with SCD. It's just too much fun.
